Irene Apollonov

As a psychologist in general practice, Irene can help individuals and families with a broad range of mental health issues. With over 20 years of experience, Irene uses a professional and individual approach which caters to each clients particular needs. She incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy, family  systems and psychotherapy into her treatment approaches. Irene can provide treatment for problems ranging from depression and mood disorders, through anxiety and phobia disorders through to pain, stress and anger management, grief and loss, addictions to alcohol, other drugs or gambling and the development of skills in parenting, social situations, managing behaviour and more.

Prior to private practice, Irene was employed in a number of roles including at The Sydney Clinic, Rivendell and at the Behaviour Intervention Centre for Children at the National University of Singapore.
