Suki is a collaboratively focused Psychologist with a passion for, and experience in working with children, adolescents and adults in educational and clinical settings.
She has experience working across a range of psychological issues including mood disorders (depression and bi-polar), anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, social anxiety and a range of childhood anxiety disorders and related conditions). She also has worked with clients helping them with relationship difficulties, sleep difficulties, substance abuse and major life changes.
Suki will always place the client’s wellbeing and improvement of their quality of life as a key focus of any intervention.
She is currently employed as a School Psychologist and this allows for a profound understanding of the difficulties that face children and young people with learning difficulties, mental health issues and school based troubles and the impact of these, on their learning and academic outcomes. Suki has also been working in private practice for over 2 years and she enjoys working with a range of clients on a longer-term basis.
Suki is a dynamic practitioner who enjoys interacting with clients and she has facilitated groups in school settings on anxiety, mindfulness and emotional health for students and parents. In a clinical setting, she has also delivered groups for adults who are struggling with addiction and mood disorders.
Suki is Medicare and Work-Cover accredited, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Suki is skilled using evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
