Martha is a registered psychologist with endorsement in organizational psychology and a masters in clinical psychology. She has twenty years experience in private practice, treating adults with depression, anxiety, low self esteem and post traumatic stress disorder. Martha understands that not everyone who sees a psychologist has to have a condition. She recognises that life is complex, and individuals need assistance in coping with stress, relationships, family, work, bereavement and managing change. It is a challenge to ‘keep it all together’ and sometimes it is just helpful to have someone to talk to. Martha also has extensive experience in assisting individuals deal with employment in the workplace, whether it is career, workplace politics, communicating and relating or conflict resolution. In terms of her approach, Martha uses a mixture of evidence based approaches, such as CBT, Narrative Exposure Therapy, mindfulness and EMDR; but she particularly relies on listening to you and understanding your experience.
